On Perceptions

I sometimes ponder over life and wonder what it has in store for us, I look at every mortal that walks by, doing what he is supposed to do, and then I wonder that he is just one man, when I look around with an open mind and an open eye, I see a plethora of people, I start thinking about how many would there be all over the world, and to my profound amazement, a Billion or maybe a zillion individuals just like you and me living their lives…….. And I start to wonder how insignificant I feel when I see so many of us.
We all have a world which we create and like to live by its own terms; seldom do we open up, and look out and see, how much we have in store to learn and understand the lives of insignificant people. People, who don’t really matter, people who are not the rich and famous, people who have a meaning to their life, live for a cause, but unfortunately, their lives are not underlined or understood by a lot of people. We all choose to believe those who we know and those who are close us. We fail to realize the fact that there are people out there, mere strangers who need to be heard, we do profoundly assume a lot of stuff, and base our truths upon the assumption. Some go without facts, but we do it, because we choose to pretend that it is the mere truth and the one and only.
The point I want to make is, we all see what we are made to see, we do not reason the argument, quite a petrifying phenomena, where justification is based, not on facts but on verbal acknowledgment. Yes, facts can be manipulated, misinterpreted, but then blind faith from a verbal source is like walking on a thin rope, that is just about to snap. We hear a lot of stuff about people from friends, family and acquaintances, people we do not know of, people who might choose to live based on good and bad terms, people who have done things that even the devil would not do, or people who choose to live lives of an angel.
We judge them, these insignificant mortals, who just pass by and who we don’t care to talk about, people who are mere strangers on the road, I look at them all, and until I see the evil within or I see the angel within, I choose not to be judgmental. Who are we to judge people? I can like or dislike someone for no reason, but character plays an important role. Its upto me, but never judge anyone unless they need to be judged. Unfortunately in our human blood, which is not very pure. It’s mixed with hatred, pain, happiness, love, anger and all the emotions that give us the urge to be judgmental. To refrain from such a delightful sin, is hard. I guess we would have to be a saint to be quite at peace and not be the judge of humanity.
I wonder if the laws of justice also go by this rule book, I guess no, that’s my opinion, you can have yours, as a matter of fact, money talks and bullshit walks, that’s what our world is coming to. Material things become a priority, and humanity is lost. This is a known secret, and ignorance is an evil, when it comes to this.
Perceptions are an evil, if not confronted with; they mess with people’s minds, and spread chaotic hatred, profound jealousy and immaculate bad blood. We choose to attract perceptions, and fail to fight the lust for savoring its desire to play with our minds; we tend to invariably suffer from its effects.
I know this person I lived with, until a few months ago, who would carry carvings of imaginations, filled with utmost and profound negativity, and all sorts of things that flew by her mind. She did have a bad life separated from her loved ones, she started acting like a lunatic, she would start imagining things and start believing that they were for real, and start going into this furious frenzy, and her mind was so messed up, I don’t think that even she knew what’s going on or playing in her mind. To me it seemed like hell broke loose, all the pain from all over this world fell upon me and my family. That’s my opinion, to me this woman needed to be treated, she looked a pure case of schizophrenia. Well, I hope she recovers and gods bless her. I forgive her for whatever she did.
So we can see how dangerously perceptions can cause turmoil in the minds of normal people, I can give many such cases, cases of depression, jealousy, rage, etc… But we must also realize that Imaginations, are not instinct, it’s a perception and an outcome of a happening, a speculation that may or may not have taken place. The only way to deal with it is to see it to believe it, if not, brush it off, because perceptions can destroy a person’s personality, and the person’s way of thinking. You start looking at life, people and other happenings based on those perceptions.
Our life is way too short to live a make believe world of misery based on stories that we create and make in our minds, we don’t need this shit, and it isn’t necessary. We need peace, happiness and a little cheer in our lives, apart from the hope that we carry. It’s hard, but it’s not impossible. A very good friend of mine told me, we have no control over the happenings that are not within our power, and there is no way we can change that. She is the one woman who opened my eyes and save me from the clutches of depression. I ponder over things she tells every time and they make real good sense.
So people do not dwell among the abyss of negativity, and bad company. Snap out of the realms of perception and live your lives complete. Ponder over it.
